Location

Hotel Karoly *** can be found in Miskolc, near the Selyemreti Open-Air Bath (Strand). The hotel can be easily reached from the Miskolc-North (Eszak) exit of highway M30. Guests can get to the city center within a few minutes by car or by public transport due to fact that the bus stops (for local and national bus lines) are located right in front of the hotel. Hotel Karoly *** is ideal for travelers who arrive by train, because the Tiszai Railway Station is only 500 m far.

Hotel Karoly *** opened its doors in 2003 as the second biggest hotel in the county. From the top of the eight-storey building we can enjoy a beautiful view of Miskolc, the Sajo Valley, Zemplen and Tokaj Mountains and Abauj Hills. The hotel is open all year long and awaits its guests with 24-hour reception, wellness services (Finnish and infrared sauna, jacuzzi, fitness room), cigar club (cigars, drink specialities, cocktails) and a great restaurant. The three conference rooms with natural daylight, the Hunter Room (50 persons), the Blue Room (130 and 80 persons, can be opened together) and the Panorama Room (360 persons) on the top floor are perfect for organizing conferences, meetings, banquets, weddings and other family occasions. The building is suitable for disabled people. Pets are not allowed.

The guestrooms in Hotel Karoly *** are very comfortable and have a spacious bathroom (shower or bathtub), television, telephone and Internet connection. Some of the rooms are airconditioned. The apartments consist of two rooms (one with double bed, the other with two single beds), a kitchenette and a bathroom with bathtub. Baby cot (or extra bed), playpen, high chair are at families’ (with little children) disposal. Rooms for the disabled are available.
