Address: LAEV, Erdesz u. 24, 3535 Miskolc The winding railway track goes through one of the biggest viaducts of the country (length 64m, height 20m), 2 tunnels, next to the beautiful Lake Hamor and reach the Trout Farm of Garadna. Trains run all year round, closed and heated wagons are provided during the winter season. Trout Farm of Garadna Address: Garadna Valley, Lillafured, Miskolc Opening hours: May 01 – September 30: from Wednesday till Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 17:00 p.m. The farm was built in 1934. There is a laboratory and a trout breeder room on the ground floor and a flat on the second floor. The founder and first leader of the farm was Istvan Vasarhelyi, who lived there. A speciality of the farm is the natural environment, which helps to breed the trouts on a healthy way. From spring to autumn the chosen trout can be fried on the spot. |
